Retro Rubber stamp challenge Winter Scenes Theme

 

Winter Scenes card using a rubber stamp over a year old.

I have dug out a really old Creative Impressions rubber stamp set 'Create a Scene', which is at least 10 or more years old. Stamps hand drawn by Sheena Douglas.

I made a scene with a few of the stamps and coloured them using some metallic pencils. Then stamped and heat embossed the Deer and the two green fir branches. The greeting and backing paper was from a Daisy and Dandelion paper pack, I also have had for years.  The gold foil frame around the scene, is recycled from a toiletries gift box i had one Christmas years ago.

I didn't realise I hadn't even used it until now, I previously cut all the stamps out and backed them with U mount foam.

Twas the Night before Christmas

 This card I have made using two Stitchy Bear stamps Snowman family and the Ticket stamp.  Coloured them with my Sakura gel pens and some promarkers. I then Die cut the image out in a scalloped square shape, and matted onto matt metallic  Blue card. Added a scrap of snowflake paper along the side and die cut a greeting. Then added a strip of scrap ribbon, and gems, stars. Finished with a tag/ticket with twine attached.

Winter Blues

 Hiya,

I have made a Blue themed winter card for next Christmas. I have used a crafters companion stamp I got from a magazine freebie.

Coloured the image with promarkers, and matted onto various scrap pieces of paper and card, dotted with some glitter glue. Die cut a tag and stamp and heat embossed the Greeting. Attached some scrap ribbon also dotted with glitter glue.

Birthday Time

 I have made card for my nephew for his birthday.

I have used some decoupage for the teddy. And used a sizzix embossing folder for the circle effects. Which I then stamped clock face's over top. Added a couple of greetings and layered it onto paper and card.

Snowman shaker card

 Hiya 

This week's card is made using an image from All dressed up. 

I embossed the back ground onto foiled card, then die cut a post box , layered it. and stamped/coloured a snowman image, and placed it behind a shaker dome , with some snowballs added inside, and onto the edge of the card.

I have made it for my son for Christmas. He loved it.
