Birthday cakes!!

Morning all,

Firstly I would like to say hi to all my new followers:-) thank you for checking out my blog!! I know there are so many to choose from!

Today I have a card I made over the weekend using a free image I got from Meljen's designs, she kindly gives a freebie every weekend, and runs a mini challenge on her Facebook page!

This is what I made this weekend using the lovely cupcakes image. I coloured them using Promarkers. The paper is from my stash, and the balloon buttons also from stash I think from Do crafts. The dotty ribbon I got in a prize a few weeks ago. I die cut the blue scalloped circle from a spellbinders die. Finally some peel off greetings.

Whoopsi Birthday!

I am surprised i have done this card and the previous card as i have a terrible flu at the moment, Ache and pains all over, shivering, fever, off food, feeling nauseous, cough, runny nose. It doesn't help when you don't get a decent nights sleep as your two little boys also have it and they are waking constantly!!! i am going to bed in a minute after i write this (sunday night) this is the third full day of it please go away soon...luckily I made the cards before it kicked in.

Anyway on to today's card, we have a new challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy! And the theme is Birthdays.  This lovely image is from sheet 395 available at linnie-whoopsiedaisy.blogspot.co.uk . if you use a Whoopsi Daisy image and is picked as the random winner you could win 2 sheets of Whoopsi Daisy images, if you are picked as the winner and did not use a Whoopsi Daisy image you will win 1 sheets of images.

I have used the pre coloured image, and matted and layered it onto some papermania ruby card, and the patterned paper is from paperartsy. I used a spellbinders die for the circle embossed design, and covered it in mica powder to give it a shimmering effect. I did colour the window and bubbles with a sakura clear gel pen but you can't see it in the photo.

Hello Christmas puppy....

Good Evening,

The card I have made below I made for the ilovepromarkers challenge blog but I missed the closing date, so couldn't submit it in the end, so here it is anyway.

I used a freebie digi image from Whimsy stamps and coloured it in using Promarkers, then die cut it out using a spellbinders circle die and then edged around it with Tim Holtz distressing ink. I added a few gems and a glitter greeting from papermania. The background paper is from creata, one of their Christmas paper/card pads from create and craft. I then  edged with papermania glitter strips.
