Merry Christmas

I had a lovely paper pack freebie last year from a magazine from Hunkydory, so decided to make a few cards using them. I gave some of these to my mother in law for her daughters .

Good morning 

I had some transfers of these lovely roses for years and never got round to using them so i used the whole packet on one card i added some inside and on the envelope! I thought i would add a shoe to the card too. 

Birthday cake

I had a fee die from a magazine and used it with mirri card for this one, and finished with a stamped greeting.

Butterflys

 One more card made using the love idea of die cutting white and adding coloured card inside.

Plain and simple sometimes that's all you need.

Balloons

My previous post was using this design with flowers so i had a go with balloons too, i liked adding an embossed border around the edge.

I saw a lovely idea in a magazine one day and thought i would do something similar.

I really like this effect of putting coloured card behind the cut out, so effective don't you think?

Here i have made a card for a man using an old decoupage sheet i had and i heat embossed the stamped greeting, and finally added some brads.

Here is a sea themed card using an old decoupage sheet up from Crafters companion.

I also used an anchor die and the background papers are from papermania.

I have really being trying to get through all my old paper packs /decoupage packs that we seem to accumulate through the years and clear some old bits out, so i have made lots of the same images.

New Challenge at Artistic Inspirations

Hiya,

 We have an Autumn theme this fortnight, i have used a digi image from Fabrika Fantasy it's called 'Little Tennis Boy'.

I have coloured him using promarkers, and used some letter brads i have had for years.... Also some paper from first edition and a tennis racket.

Cute images aren't they, i must admit i don't really remember these maybe it was slightly before my time!

Gardening cards

Here are quite few gardening cards i made a while back, using up some decoupage papers from Do crafts. I do love to garden but mine is tiny so not much to do in it really.

 I gave all these card to a charity shop along with some others.

Fathers Day card

I feel like i haven't had much time to post my card's on blogger lately so i am try to catch up a bit, too busy looking for a job (taking up all my spare time). And with keeping the boys busy over the school holidays eats away at time too!

Anyway here is a fathers day card i made back a few months ago for my dad, i am from a coal mining area when i was young but didn't really see any it had all ended when i was growing up. 

Here is the Brownhills miner sculpture where i grew up.

The card i made was using the La Pashe decoupage papers 'Remember when'

Here is my late posting of this card (oops! i thought i had done it already) card for the challenge over at Crafting with Friends. Had such a busy few weeks.

I am using a very cute digi image from SheepSki Designs called Snowman Selfie

Hope it was worth the wait!. I have used a die for the photo frame and some old christmas paper from my stash. A few text peel offs and really old Sticky ribbon.
